The dashboard page brings together the most immediately important information in the portal.
* *1 * The top menu gives you access to all the portal's functionality.
* *2 * The left menu is an exact duplicate of the top menu.* *3 * If there are [#296,email messages awaiting moderation], the section _Emails to send_ will be at the top of the centre column.
* *4 * The top of the right column lists any new grant reports which have not yet been reviewed and either accepted or returned to the grant recipient.* *5 * There may be a list of today's [#387,events].
* *6 * Every current funding round is listed, with clickable links to provide easy access to important features. See the section below for more details.* *7 * The current software versions (for the core framework and for the Cure Kids customisations) are displayed in the right column.
* *8 * Up to ten recently-visited pages are listed at the bottom of the centre column, providing an easy way to return to something you've recently been working on.* *9 * Any [#263,reference data] items added by users other than administrators are referenced in the right hand column. You can click these to edit the items by either accepting them, merging them or making them inactive.
* *10 * The message below the left menu is only displayed to Administrators. Along with messages for each of the other user roles, this can be edited on the [#257,Content] page.* *11 * Using the [+] button in the page footer, you can quickly create persistent, private notes that are displayed to you at the bottom of every portal page. This is a useful way to jot down things you need to remember.
* *12 * In the bottom right corner are metrics on portal use.The funding rounds in the dashboard page's centre column may display either a graphical (as shown) or textual summary of each round. You can change the presentation on the Profile page.
* Clicking an active (not grey) icon will display the items it refers to, either using a popup dialog box or taking you to the appropriate portal page.
* The colours of the icons represent the urgency of the item's status. Green is least urgent, red is most urgent.This presents the same information as the graphical dashboard, but in text format.
