Editing a page starts with [#18,logging in] to the EAFF Help Wiki and then selecting the *Edit* tab.
While editing you can either use toolbar buttons to format the text, or use Wiky Syntax. Although the commands have to be learnt, Wiky Syntax is significantly quicker.

To add an image to the page, first capture and save it
on your computer at whatever size you want it displayed. Then click the toolbar's image button, browse to find the file and upload it. Clicking on the uploaded file will insert it into the page being edited.uri/../images/admin-help-imageuploader.pngThere are more details on editing functionality on the Web Help Wiki website. Some pages on the site have content that's duplicated in multiple places. A particular example are the _Guides for Applications Types_ which are displayed to every user. Rather than have to maintain content like this in multiple places, there is an alias function.
For example, the real _Guides for Application Types_ pages are under the _F-visitors_ section. In each of the other sections, these pages look the same, but when edited they have a single line of content such as:
*[**alias=28]*
The help wiki knows that instead of displaying "_[__alias=28]_" as written, it should retrieve page 28 and display it here.
If there are pages you need to display in multiple places, here's how.
1. Create the original page in any one of the sections using the instructions in [#19,Adding a page].
1. Note the page number. This is displayed in the location bar of your web browser. For example, if it says _http://researchgrantshelp.heartfoundation.org.nz/index.php?src=52065#20-en_, the page you're on is page 20 (look closely at the end of the URL: _src=52065#*20*-en_).
1. Create the other pages wherever you require them, using the instructions in [#19,Adding a page]. When you edit the page, the only thing it needs is *[**alias=20]*. Save it and ... bam! you'll see the content from the original page.
